Jon Worren Atrium 2Jon E. Worren, co-Founder

Jon has more than 16 years of experience in the clean technology and IT industries. Jon’s experience includes strategic planning, marketing and branding, business development, start-up financing and international expansion.

Most recently, Jon has worked with clean technology companies operating in both North America and Europe and has a solid understanding of the state of the renewable energy industry.

Prior experience includes six years working for research and advisory firm Gartner Inc in the UK, Germany, Canada and the USA, and seven years working in the software industry, including successful software start-ups.

In his career, Jon has had many of the world’s leading technology companies as clients, including Motorola, Comerica, Health Care Service Corporation, Abbott Labs, Progressive Insurance, TD Ameritrade, Bell Canada, BMO, Allstream, Fifth Third Bank, Deluxe Corporation, ING, Allianz, Nokia, SonyEricsson, Siemens, Telenor, DnB Group, Nordea, Danske Bank, T-systems, VNU, ATOS Origin, Philips, Bank Hapoalim, Volvo, Toyota Motors Europe, WM-Data.

Jon holds a Master of Science in Media & Communication from London School of Economics and a Master of Science in Business and Economics from the Norwegian School of Management.

Tim Wohlgemut, co-Founder

As one of the Principles and Co-Founder of ClearSky Advisors, Tim has led and contributed to numerous projects in the renewable energy field.  He has served investors, developers, IPPs, manufacturers, and policy makers through a series of research projects covering wind and solar industries.  He has also been a contributing author on a number of internal and external publications related to wind, solar, and biomass.

Previously, Tim was Co-President at Millennium Research Group (MRG), the world’s largest market intelligence firm focused on the medical device industry. Over his tenure the firm’s revenue and profitability both grew more than 1000% while he led a diverse set of departments and divisions including Research and Databases, Marketing, Product Development, and Sales. In 2006 MRG became part of Decision Resources Inc. (DRI) and Tim was asked to stay with the firm in an executive role.  As Co-President of MRG Tim also sat on the Corporate Executive Board of DRI, which oversaw a portfolio of companies and approximately $100 million in annual revenue.  DRI was purchased by Providence Equity Partners in 2007.

During his career, Tim has worked with many of the world’s largest renewable energy, technology, industrial, financial, and healthcare companies as clients including: 3M, Dow Chemical, General Electric, Philips, McKinsey and Co., Carl Zeiss AG, Deloitt Consulting, IBM, KPMG, Johnson and Johnson, Siemens, Abbott Laboratories, Boston Scientific, Cardinal Health, McKesson, Sony, Medtronic, Ernst and Young, St. Jude, Olympus, Tyco, Becton Dickinson, Baxter, Deutsche Bank, Smith and Nephew, Biotronik, Allergan, Toshiba, Hitachi, Astra Zeneca, Getinge AB, Bayer, Sanofi Aventis and many others.

Tim holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Waterloo.
