The Impact of the Long-Term Energy Plan on Solar Energy in Ontario

On November 23, 2010, the Government of Ontario released its Long-Term Energy Plan (LTEP). The document contains the government’s proposal for meeting energy demand in Ontario over the next 20 years (2010-2030). More significantly for those in the renewable energy industry, the document provides a clear goal for power generated by solar, wind, and bioenergy (renewables).
